01 — Introduction

A principal investor in private capital and credit

Silk Prosperity invests as a principal across private credit, private equity and real assets. Where appropriate, we invite professional and qualified institutional partners to participate alongside us in selected opportunities.

Our work combines market insight, disciplined underwriting and an operational perspective, supported by the international network of our parent, CGPH Group Limited (USA). Participation in any opportunity is subject to eligibility, due diligence, transaction documentation and applicable law.

Curated Opportunities

A narrow set of transactions selected through direct sourcing and disciplined credit and commercial evaluation.

Flexible Capital Structures

Structures shaped around each situation, from senior and structured credit to minority growth capital and control acquisitions.

Asset-Backed Perspective

Assessment grounded in cash flow, collateral quality and how a business actually operates, competes and services obligations.

Cross-Border Reach

Relationships and cross-sector experience drawn from the international CGPH Group Limited (USA) network.

03 — Approach

Origination to realisation, underwritten line by line

  1. 01

    Origination

Opportunities are sourced directly and through the Group's international relationships, then screened against our sector interests and investment criteria.

  2. 02

    Underwriting

Commercial, financial, operational and legal review, supported by independent advisers where appropriate, to support informed credit and investment assessment.

  3. 03

    Structuring

Terms, security, governance and reporting are agreed with counterparties so that expectations, incentives and protections are aligned from the outset.

  4. 04

    Stewardship

We work alongside management on strategy, operational priorities, international introductions and access to further capital as the business develops.

  5. 05

    Realisation

Repayment and realisation routes are considered from the beginning and reviewed as the position matures, with timing assessed against market conditions.

04 — Underwriting Criteria

What we look for

Cash-Flow Durability

Revenue and margin profiles that can be evidenced, stress-tested and reasonably expected to persist through a cycle.

Collateral & Asset Quality

Real assets, receivables or contractual rights that can be identified, valued and, where relevant, secured.

Scalable Business Models

Economics that improve with scale and can be extended into new markets or customer segments without proportionate cost.

Exceptional Management

Teams with relevant sector experience, execution discipline and the judgement to adapt as conditions change.
